UKGBC is working towards a piece of detailed work on social value delivery guidance that will enable built environment practitioners to improve the quality of life of people by providing step-by-step support through the social value delivery process. As part of the development of this report, UKGBC has launched a Social Value Survey to get feedback.

The survey is split into two sections. The first section invites comments and feedback on the process for delivering social value, a key element of the Framework for Defining Social Value published in February 2021. The second section proposes potential options for the structure of a report that will offer detailed step-by-step guidance and seeks input on content.

We are seeking feedback from built environment stakeholders across the full value chain, and project lifecycle. This includes investors, developers, advisory services, contractors and their supply chain, and any users of buildings (owners, landlords, tenants). Feedback will be used to develop the first draft of the social value delivery guide and ascertain which elements require further exploration with this year’s Programme Partners.

The survey will take 15 minutes to complete and the deadline for completing the survey is Monday the 13th of December 2021. If you have any questions around this survey, please contact: eleanor.boyce@ukgbc.org.

This work forms part of UKGBC’s Social Value programme which has been made possible this year thanks to the generous support of Programme Partners:
