This workshop is one of a series that seek to build on the momentum from the launch of the report, Scaling Sustainable Solutions for the Built Environment: Barriers & Enablers, and turn its insights into coordinated industry action. It brings together key stakeholders involved in adopting sustainable solutions, including asset owners, contractors, developers, architects and real estate investors, to explore innovation needs and sustainability challenges, and develop selected enablers from the report that have the potential to drive solution adoption and scaling.

You’ll leave with an understanding of organisations’ challenges and areas of interest for sustainable building adaptation and climate resilience solutions and approaches of how we can work together to develop mechanisms that enable their widespread adoption. The session will be collaborative, with all attendees sharing their insights and reflections to shape the discussion.

This session will be on the topic of ‘Building Adaptation and Climate Resilience’. It may cover solution types related to climate modelling, metrics and risk identification; nature-based solutions; and climate hazard resilience with respect to overheating, flooding or water stress/drought.
