General election campaign: policy platform launch event

With different visions for green investment and a new wave of developments already in the political crosshairs, UKGBC is stepping up our policy and advocacy efforts for the general election period to ensure the voice of our sustainable built environment is heard. This is a window of opportunity for members to shape ideas, influence policy and build lasting relationships with politicians that hold sway.
UKGBC will be joined by Chris Skidmore, Mission Zero Coalition, for the launch of our general election campaign policy platform.
This event will include:
- An introduction from Mission Zero Coalition’s Chris Skidmore
- Launch of our policy platform for the general election campaign
- What to expect from UKGBC during the election period
We also want to hear about your general election plans and ideas – your feedback will help shape our agenda.
We will be setting out many ways for you and your organisation to get involved:
- Supporting the effort – become a Advocacy Project Partner, second a member of your team, or join a general election task group
- Promoting the policy ideas – through direct contact with politicians, as well as social media, op eds and engagement with journalists
- Learning and development – exclusive member opportunities with briefings, bulletins and events.
