Change Accelerator is an immersive sustainability leadership programme for professionals working in the built environment who have real influence over business strategy, and a remit for change. The programme convenes those who wish to champion transformational change in their organisations and support the overall systemic shift needed for a sustainable built environment. By the end of the programme, participants will have a fresh perspective, renewed sense of purpose, and be connected to a network of peers who will support them in the delivery of bold and sustainable outcomes for their own organisations.

Change Accelerator:

  • Exposes participants to cutting edge leadership insights: through a mix of learning techniques, expert speakers and facilitators, and peer-to-peer dialogue.
  • Applies a new frame of thinking to sustainability challenges: leveraging new insights and connections to develop a strategy to positively achieve organisational and sectoral change.
  • Hones storytelling techniques: enhancing the agency, influence, and inspirational capacity of participants.
  • Establishes a powerful peer network: reconnecting with leadership purpose and engaging with a diverse range of fellow leaders, lasting long after programme conclusion.

The Programme & It’s Participants

The next programme will run from March-April 2027. Change Accelerator participants should have significant professional experience (typically 10-15 years) and hold decision-making authority within their organisation. Participants define and explore both a personal leadership and business challenge over their programme journey. The key touch points are shown to the right, with learning outside of these sessions estimated at 2 days in total.

Purpose

During the online Kick-Off Call and in-person Nature Retreat we interrogate the macro sustainability trends and disruptive forces that impact on business and society. Purpose-led leadership will be central to the retreat, where participants will have time to reflect and pause on their motivators and drivers through experiential exposure to leadership insights in nature. Business decision-making and organisational response will be explored to understand how to deliver positive impact through business.

Storytelling and Influencing

In this online workshop we look at how to make change happen and participants’ roles as change-agents. We come back to personal purpose and understand the power of storytelling as an influencing technique. Participants learn how to develop their own story and enhance their own mastery to infuence and inspire change.

Systems and Strategies

In this online workshop we come back to the rapidly changing external context and consider the resilience and appropriateness of business’ response. Participants hear from inspirational leaders who have delivered transformation. We explore systems thinking and define where we can make a difference to make systemic change happen by unpacking the root causes of sustainability challenges.

Report Out

An in-person event where we showcase, celebrate, and reflect on programme learnings and forge strong commitments to action and continued connection going forwards.
