UKGBC Partners with Innovation Zero on conference to accelerate sustainability innovation in the built environment
Taking place at the end of April 2024, the second year of Innovation Zero will bring together 12,000 delegates who develop, produce, deploy, and fund low carbon solutions. Supported by the UK Government, the conference will see over 600 speakers talking on a range of climate change mitigation topics, many of which related to the decarbonisation of our built environment.
UKGBC’s partnership with Innovation Zero comes in a crucial year for sustainability, widening the reach of our initiatives in the built environment and the solutions we have at our fingertips. Notably, our Head of Climate Action, Yetunde Abdul, will speak at the session ‘The Roadmap to Energy Efficiency and Biodiversity’ at the Built Environment Forum on the 30th April. She will be appearing alongside: Andy Haigh, Director of Climate Positive Solutions – Grosvenor Group; Patrick Harvie, Minister for Zero Carbon Buildings, Active Travel & Tenants’ Rights – Scottish Parliament; Melanie Leech CBE, Chief Executive – British Property Federation; and Audrey Nugent, Director of Global Advocacy – World Green Building Council (WGBC).
Over the coming months we will be sharing more about our appearance at Innovation Zero, additional speaking sessions and what UKGBC members can learn from the conference. Sign up to attend here.
