UKGBC Partners with CREtech on conference to accelerate the use of sustainable technology in the built environment

Now in its third year, the CREtech conference will take place in London and offers UKGBC members the opportunity to learn more about technology and innovation in the built environment.

This year will see the third CREtech conference held in London on the 8th-9th May, providing an opportunity for stakeholders from across the built environment sector to come together and reimagine real estate with sustainability and innovation at its heart. Each year the conference sees 2,000+ attendees from over 1000 companies, with many of UKGBC’s members signed up to speak on panels and attend. The programme consists of a wide range of talks, focussing on topics such as AI, procuring renewable energy, avoiding carbon tunnel vision and the role of occupiers in decarbonisation.

UKGBC’s partnership for 2024, follows prior engagement when our previous CEO Julie Hirigoyen led the keynote speech in 2022. We believe our partnership offers opportunities for members to immerse themselves in conversations about sustainability and network with peers both within and outside of the UKGBC membership. This year, our Chief Executive Smith Mordak will be talking on the panel, ‘How the Gamechangers are Futureproofing the Built World’ on the 8th May alongside Jacob Loftus (General Projects), Kat Hanna (Avison Young) and Justin Harley (Yardi).
