UKGBC’s recent Embodied Carbon modelling and reporting project aims to improve the transparency and consistency of embodied carbon assessment. This included how to understand and use Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations within embodied carbon assessments. Building on the report, this webinar will showcase tools and solutions to help designers select low-embodied carbon materials, and aid developers and contractors in materials selection.
The webinar will also help product manufacturers understand the data required within low embodied carbon selection. Enabling them to share the data in a way which aids material selection.
During the event, you’ll hear from the UKGBC team on the importance of the topic. Afterwards, there will be a series of quick-fire pitches from our Innovative Start Up members companies offering solutions in this space. UKGBC’s Solutions & Innovation team have been continuously profiling many of these in our Solutions Library.
UKGBC is therefore running this cross-team webinar to showcase some of the innovative solutions available to help built environment practitioners understand the tools to lower the embodied carbon of their buildings.
