Co-Designing a Scaling Pathway for Modular Construction Systems Using Sustainable Materials

Please note that this event is invitation-only.
As part of UKGBC’s Scaling Sustainable Solutions Initiative, we are running a participatory workshop that brings together a diverse range of industry stakeholders to develop a shared vision for scaling modular construction systems using sustainable materials and co-design a “scaling pathway” that identifies the practical actions and enablers required to achieve that future. We’ll be exploring topics such as risk, certification, business models, data, collaboration and more.
Participants will take an active role in creating a roadmap that mobilises industry to accelerate the adoption and scaling of high-impact sustainable solutions in this area. It will also give you the opportunity to hear from other experts and make valuable connections with those driving innovation that could lead to future collaborations.
The workshop will be delivered through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between UKGBC and the University of the Built Environment, building on insights from research and engagement so far.
This is an invite-only event, but please contact us at innovation@ukgbc.org if you have expertise in this area and are interested in getting involved
Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for professionals engaged in the adoption of modular construction systems using sustainable materials, such as asset owners/managers, contractors, developers, architects, engineering firms, real estate investors and consultants, as well as innovators working to develop and scale solutions in this area, such as manufacturers and suppliers. We encourage professionals in a variety of roles to attend, for example, those engaged in procurement, finance, legal, or implementation.
