UKGBC appoints CBRE’s Lorna Walker to Board of Trustees as charity charts impact
Lorna Walker, Director, Development Capital Markets at CBRE was today appointed to the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) Board of Trustees at the charity’s annual general meeting.
Lorna established CBRE’s UK Innovation and PropTech Group and leads their strategic relationship with the PI Labs accelerator programme. With her extensive experience in technology and innovation, Lorna will provide UKGBC with valuable insight and counsel as it increases its focus on capturing and promoting practical solutions to industry issues.
Her appointment comes as the UKGBC releases its Impact Report for the twelve months to April 2019, which shows that the organisation:
• hosted over 90 events and engaged with over 5,000 individuals across almost 400 member organisations
• delivered seven major reports or guidance documents from policy and industry forums and task groups
• provided learning and development opportunities to 2,832 individuals from 40% of UKGBC’s member organisations
