Advancing Net Zero Programme
Partnership Length | 1 year (FY 2024/25) |
Cost | £30,000 |
Launched in 2018, UKGBC’s Advancing Net Zero (ANZ) programme champions the UK’s transition to a net zero carbon built environment by calling for strong corporate leadership, driving up demand and supporting the investment case for net zero carbon buildings.
Working closely with our partners in industry and government, the ANZ programme has galvanised climate action through its work, supporting our industry to secure our pathway to net zero.
With an ambitious range of projects lined up, we are pleased to open up two spaces for UKGBC member organisations to join as a ANZ programme partner for 2024-25, with an overarching steering role of all ANZ work,.
With the overarching aim to advance the net zero carbon agenda in the UK to support achievement of UKs 2050 targets, the ANZ programme aims to:
- Define ambitious and consistent commitments and standards
- Identify challenges, solutions, and best practice
- Increase knowledge and skills
This work will continue to support the built environment industry in overcoming net zero challenges and adopting net zero solutions at scale. We anticipate the impact of our work to remain significant, with thousands of professions equipped with net zero skills, increased dialogue and innovation to enable net zero and clear support for a balanced just transition to net zero.
