Building Optimisation and Demand Response Automation
Problem Addressed
Building operations are responsible for 30% of final energy consumption globally. With UKGBC’s Whole Life Carbon Roadmap targeting a 49% reduction in non-domestic energy intensity by 2040, optimising the energy use of existing commercial buildings is an important strategy to reduce emissions.
Case Study
Elyos Energy worked with a large civic center in the west midlands to identify energy savings of £50k per year. These savings were broken into three areas: wasted overnight electricity usage, incorrect public holiday scheduling, incorrect weekend scheduling. Elyos Energy software is currently deployed in over 400 buildings in the UK.
