How to 'Articulate' Net Zero?
UKGBC takes the health and wellbeing of its staff and event attendees extremely seriously. Given the WHO declaration that Coronavirus is a global pandemic, UKGBC is monitoring the situation closely and adapting our ways of working to mitigate the risk to staff, members and wider stakeholders. After careful consideration, we have decided to avoid any potential risk posed by people gathering at events by moving this event to an online format. All those who have or will sign up will receive an email confirming the new details and access link. If you have any questions, please contact events@UKGBC.org
How we communicate our ideas and objectives to each other is key to engaging others and achieving our goals, especially in this decade of action on climate change. While many of us are experts in a particular speciality we are not always great at communicating it simply or to others in different fields.
This event will allow you to gain and practice skills in summarising concepts and ideas down to their core elements and re-articulating them back to a larger group in a clear, concise and compelling way. Using the topic of ‘Advancing Net Zero’ work through the steps to get your message across clearly, concisely and compellingly.
