Jointly hosted by GMCA, the Energy Saving Trust, NEA and UKGBC, this workshop will explore opportunities which can help Greater Manchester to tackle fuel poverty and improve home energy efficiency. We ill be using it as a key opportunity to disseminate the work of the Regen and Retrofit task group.

The devolution agenda has shifted much of the focus for energy efficiency and fuel poverty policy towards cities. The Mayor of Greater Manchester is setting ambitious goals for decarbonisation of the city region and in recent years the combined authority has been taking a lead in attempting to integrate health and housing. This workshop will bring together local and national stakeholders to discuss existing plans in GM and identify new approaches and opportunities which could be trialled and adopted in the area.

The workshop is part of UKGBC’s Cities Programme.

This is an invitation-only event. Please contact Richard.Twinn@ukgbc.org if you have any questions.
