Overview of Start-up
A digital tendering platform for net zero retrofits, they connect customers to the expertise they need at every stage of the journey. They simplify the procurement of skills and solutions, making it transparent, competitive and hassle-free. All bids submitted onto their tendering platform are standardised, it’s easy for customers to compare installers and understand their choices. AI is used to deliver rapid feedback that helps installers tailor their bid to the priorities of each customer, bringing greater transparency to both sides of the process.
What makes the start-up innovative?
CQuel offers customers clarity around costs and choice, whilst also making procurement pain-free. They get customers competitive quotes on what they need, without locking them into specific suppliers. The platform also offers customers the flexibility of focussing on ‘what’s next’ instead of end-to-end. This approach will result in more net zero projects being successfully implemented, as it reduces the friction and overwhelm that often stalls projects before they even begin.
how the start-up has been designed to scale up
The platform is able to procedurally generate bespoke tender flows for new skills and technologies within days. This allows CQuel to rapidly expand across categories so that customers use them to tender for whatever they need, without having to grow their team. They are currently exploring how the platform could handle larger portfolio volumes in the future, leveraging AI to automate more of the processes, and these functions will learn and improve with scale.
