The forum is a space for sharing insights, aligning efforts and discussing emerging practices and challenges for reducing embodied ecological impacts of the built environment. This includes looking at biodiversity loss, land-use change, resource depletion, and ecological degradation.

Who should apply?

The forum is open to UKGBC member organisations that are currently looking at embodied ecological impacts of the built environment within their work or organisation. This could be from those who are part of or directly related to the supply chain (contractors, manufacturers and suppliers) or those who are involved in the planning and design of projects and influence the use of materials (developers, architects, engineers, consultants). We also welcome applications from academic or innovative stakeholders focused on this topic.

The forum meetings will start in September and meet roughly on a six-week basis. The meetings will provide an opportunity to share successes, challenges, and learnings with the wider group in a confidential setting.

The forum is open for applications year round.
