About this event
Join us for our summer social, a relaxed evening get-together where you will also hear about the insights coming from UKGBC’s work applying a systems change approach to live real estate projects.
We will be exploring the ongoing work of UKGBC’s Systems Change Programme, which is supporting the development of two early-stage regeneration schemes:
- Lund Quarter, Newham – brought by Hawkins\Brown and Populo Living
- Waterloo and Queen Street, Havering – brought by Wates Group and Havering Council
Through tangible intervention on these live projects, we have been looking to challenge traditional practices, break down systemic barriers, and demonstrate how sustainable design and construction can be achieved through innovative and collaborative ways of working.
This is your chance to input! We will present exciting progress and learnings to date on the two projects, and invite further steer from you over a (hopefully sunny) summer evening of networking and reconnection between peers across the leadership alumni.
The event will start at 4:30pm in The Phoenix Garden, London. UKGBC members and non-members are welcome.
A small contribution is kindly asked for per ticket. Places are limited, so sign up soon to reserve your spot! A free ticket is available to UKGBC Leadership Programme Alumni – please contact leaders@ukgbc.org.
