Zoom into Nature is a unique hybrid learning course, providing an extraordinary opportunity to deeply experience nature and harness its potential for building design.

About the course

Delegates will join an introductory Zoom call, where they will be welcomed to the  course and have a chance to meet their course mates. Then, for the following week delegates will devote a short time out of their days to observe and learn about  the nature local to them and how it builds for biodiversity, through a combination of simple, fun and relaxing activities.

At the end of the week, delegates will return to a Zoom call to share their thoughts and experiences on the activities they undertook, how it helped them to connect with and draw inspiration from nature, and how they might take that inspiration and apply it to their work to benefit people and biodiversity.

15 May, 10:00 – 11:30 – Online Session 1 – introduction and course set-up

This course is part of our Nature and Biodiversity Learning Programme

This programme seeks to radically change delegates view of nature, to a perspective that values and respects nature and humans’ place within the web of life.

Split into a wide number of workshops, masterclasses and webinars over several months, delegates can choose to join any number of sessions and do not need to attend them all. You are instead encouraged to engage with the question – how do I want to better connect with nature? – and seek out the learning opportunities that will help you find the answers you need.
