EXTERNAL EVENT: MIPIM UK Summit

The MIPIM UK Summit is the leading UK event for the built environment, for industry leaders to gain insights from a high level conference programme, to network, connect and do business. We’re delighted that UKGBC is a partner of the MIPIM UK Summit in 2019 and our Chief Executive, Julie Hirigoyen, will be moderating a session at this year’s event.

New technology and changing behaviours are transforming the nature of real estate as an investment, and as a product or service. High energy prices, climate change and government regulation are already pushing sustainability up the real estate agenda. There is a need for investors and owners to improve asset performance and manage a broader range of risks.

This year the focus in on the global, economic, societal and technological issues impacting the real estate industry. Across two days, a range of talks and panel discussions will offer food for thought, strategic insights and solution-orientated tools, with input from thought leaders from across the real estate industry. The summit will address the expanding needs and interests of the built environment which plays an ever more critical role in the success of our cities, places and people.
