Annual Keystone Member Event

UKGBC’s Annual Keystone event is a chance to bring leaders together, foster meaningful connections and highlight the most influential drivers shaping the industry. It offers an opportunity to meet and network with colleagues and peers in central London.
This year, the Keystone event will explore the pivotal role of finance as a critical enabler of climate mitigation, adaptation and nature protection.
Bringing together voice and insights from policy, finance and the wider industry, the discussion will focus on long-term finding mechanisms and financial signals shaping the future of the built environment. We will explore key themes from UKGBC’s newly released Nature Positive Framework*, alongside the latest insights from the Net Zero Whole Life Carbon Roadmap Progress Report and the forthcoming update of the UKGBC Net Zero Carbon Framework Definition, launching in spring, complement each other and remain fit for purpose.
During the afternoon, we will explore how emerging approaches to valuing and financing nature align with climate goals and commercial realities. Above all, the conversation will return to a central question: how can the built environment unlock finance in ways that allow both business and the planet to thrive?

*Framework for a Nature-Positive Built Environment will set out what exactly defines a ‘nature-positive’ project. Amongst other things this should unlock green finance for nature-positive projects. This work is aligned to the 2022 Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework to halt biodiversity loss.
