Retrofitting our commercial properties will play a critical role in achieving our net zero goals. UKGBC’s Whole Life Carbon Roadmap shows that non-domestic buildings are responsible for 23% of the UK’s operational emissions, with commercial offices being the second largest primary driver of energy demand and operational emissions.

Why attend?

This online session is an opportunity to take a deep dive into UKGBC’s latest guidance, Building the case for net zero: retrofitting office buildings, which explores the potential cost, operational energy efficiency, and embodied carbon impact of different retrofit measures. The event will include an overview of the report, providing attendees with a better understanding of the guidance and how it can help overcome common retrofit challenges, and close the gap towards future net zero carbon performance targets. This will be followed by Q&A and open discussion in smaller groups to enable attendees to knowledge share and exchange insights.

Please join us to give us your feedback, ask any questions you might have and engage in discussion with the project team at UKGBC.

Who should attend?

This is an exclusive member-only event with limited tickets to enable discussions in a smaller group. For more information on the benefits of UKGBC membership, please see this page.
